Beautiful world

This afternoon i went for my walk to Drapetsona. I took this selfie with others,before i leave Ethnikis Antistasseos square. Drapetsona combines the old and the new and this place has something nostalgic.

Ash Monday and it is the beginning of Lent. Traditionally we eat fasting foods. On the photo is halva made of tahini,in vanilla flavour. But we also made potatoes,baked in the oven,traditional greek bean soup with tomato. And we bought from the bakery lagana bread.It is the traditional flatbread of Ash Monday, unleavened,oval-shaped,with sesame seeds on the top.

On this day,in 2021,i created my account on TikTok. An amazing journey,even with its ups and downs,but i am satisfied with my self. I am still under 1K followers,but i make success all these years,many.views and engagement only from a few videos. I don't know what future holds for ne. But i made it so far and that's enough for now.

It is Smokey Thursday and it is tradition to eat meat. We ordered,i choosed pork gyros pita,with onion and tomato.

Have a nice Friday. I have told you that i went to the fair of the Candlemas of Christ on previous days. One of the things i bought is a book,a novel, written by greek author. I started it yesterday,the weather was rainy. It was a very good opportunity.I like it,you can read it easily. The author is Eleni Tsamadou and if we could give an english title to the book it is:The dance of the secrets.

Have a nice Tuesday. The last couple of days we had the fair of the Candlemas of Christ. We went both days,although on 1st of February the weather was rainy from the morning.But the rain stopped and we visited the fair. We went both days.What i bought:an inox case for my dishes,a pair of pillow cases. A few little tulumbas and a book, written by greek author.We'll see when i start to read it.
